Megapixel: The higher the megapixel, the more the cost of the CCTV camera.
Features: CCTV security cameras with a wider capabilities and features such as motion detection, Autotracking, zoom, Human and Vehicle detection, Night color vision should be more expensive compared to a basic CCTV camera.
Physical size of CCTV camera: Small sized cameras like the pin hole spy camera is expected to be cheaper compared to a speed dome Hikvision cameras usually mounted on traffic lights.
Standalone vs Systems: A standalone camera does not need anything else outside of itself to function. While a system-based CCTV security camera will require a bunch of other important components such as cables, coaxial or network cable, DVR or NVR, video balun, Hard drive etc. A system-based security camera is more expensive compared to a standalone cctv camera.
